Villa dei Gerani is set in the Marche countryside, not far from Pesaro, an important city in the Italian and international cultural scene for the Rossini Opera Festival and for the Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema.

This early 20th century villa has been completely renovated in the early 21st century with elegantly furnished rooms and prestigious decorations that testify to the style of the owners. Far from the noise of the city and only 1 km from the sea, Villa dei Gerani allows its guests to breathe in the magnificent atmosphere given by the beauty of the place and to relax 

Interior

VILLA: The house has three floors. The main entrance door, on the ground floor, leads directly into the elegantly furnished sitting room with beautiful grand piano and fireplace; on the left is the dining room and the kitchen. Completing the floor, on the right, is a guest bathroom and a double bedroom. From the sitting room, a marble staircase goes up to the first floor with a small sitting room which acts as a hallway to the sleeping area composed of a master bedroom with balcony, walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with shower and hydromassage tub, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom served by a bathroom with shower. The top floor of the villa is the attic composed of two double bedrooms served by a bathroom with tub. ANNEX: Located a few metres from the villa, it is divided from it by a courtyard in terracotta and consists of a professional open kitchen and a laundry corner with washing machine and sink.

Park

The villa is surrounded by a park of over 7,000 sq m, completely fenced-in and equipped with an automatic entrance gate. A lovely green drive leads to the villa and to the parking area delimited by tall trees, such as oaks and olives. Areas of lawn, mostly flat and embellished with bushes and ornamental plants characterise the two areas where guests can hang out: one next to the beautiful portico covered with wisteria, a typical Mediterranean creeper with fragrant lilac-coloured flowers and the other in the pool area, with a colourful balcony of geraniums that embellish this green space with hot tub and dedicated in part to the sunbathing area. The portico, on the other hand, located in front of the dining room and kitchen and furnished with table and chairs, is an enchanting corner where guests can enjoy their meals in total relaxation.

Pool

The swimming pool, open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, is about 10 m from the house and can be reached either down a flight of terracotta steps or across the lawn. It is located on a lower level than the villa, off to one side of it. It measures 12 x 8 m with the depth ranging from 1,20 to 2,50 m. Lined in PVC with a terracotta border, it has clorine purification, internal and external lighting and Roman steps for access to the water. The sunbathing area, partly paved in terracotta and partly lawn, covers an area of about 200 sq and is equipped with sunbeds and umbrella. Next to the pool, a hot tub seating 3 and a hot and cold-water shower complete the pool area which is also served by a bathroom with shower.

Location

Located on the Adriatic coast, Villa dei Gerani is only 1 km from the city of Pesaro, a very active cultural centre that hosts numerous opera, cinema and theatre festivals. It is known as the Città della Bicicletta because of the vast network of cycle paths, making it the first city in Italy for the amount of urban bike use, on a par with Bolzano; it is also known as the Città della Musica, due to the strong link still present with the Pesaro composer Gioachino Rossini and his many works. In 2017 Pesaro was recognized as a UNESCO Creative City for Music, having as the motivation for its candidacy the commitment to disseminate, promote and revisit the music of Rossini. Other localities worthy of mention are Fiorenzuola di Focara, Casteldimezzo and the beautiful bay of Vallugola, easily reachable by car. All main services are in Pesaro. The motorway exit is about 12 km away and the international airport of Ancona Falconara is about 70 km away.
