Emma Villas launches Chiara Travels in London for World Travel Market

In these past days, the most important and influential travel and tourism event was held in London: the World Travel Market. We at Emma Villas were present, aiming to strengthen and expand our networks and, at the same time, to present and export our new in-house project: Chiara Travels

Chiara Travels was born from the vision of the Founder and CEO of Emma Villas, Giammarco Bisogno and his daughter Chiara’s passion for travel, hence the name of the brand.

We wish to share the Emma Villas model beyond the Italian borders and enrich our portfolio with new destinations, preserving and replicating the values that have helped consolidate Emma Villas’ leadership in Italy to date.

Luca Bertolini, Marketing and Communications Manager of Emma Villas, attended the WTM together with part of the team and, upon his return, has commented:

I believe that our participation in WTM, the most important international tourism fair in London, was a great opportunity for us to establish new business contacts, to evaluate potential B2B and B2C collaborations in order to increase and make our sales channels more and more qualitative, to get in contact with important stakeholders and to stay updated on the new trends in an ever-evolving sector. We were once again the only company present for the vacation rental of luxury villas and homes in Italy and this consolidates more and more our image as a sector leader. Participating was important considering that Emma Villas’ foreign clientele is equivalent to 86% of the total and that the English one is historically a major target market for us. Having just launched our second brand, Chiara Travels, our participation in this year’s WTM is a true opening to the whole world with our eyes focused on the future and the growth of our company.”

Also present with Luca Bertolini were Fabrizio Cinfrignini, Massimo Provenza and Andrea Luigi Allodi, part of the commercial network, whose goal is to acquire and expand the portfolio of Emma Villas and, in parallel, that of Chiara Travels; Alessandra Masci and Rossana Cioncoloni, the first, a Booking specialist and the second, an Experiences specialist; Carla Vieira and Rachel Agnel, collaborators for Chiara Travels.

One of the most interesting things that emerged was the research done by WTM, in collaboration with researchers from Oxford Economics, which showed how more and more travellers are abandoning traditional habits in favour of unique, transversal, exclusive and valuable experiences to connect with local culture, people, nature and cuisine.

This report also emphasises the desire, increasingly growing, of consumers to re-connect, in an increasingly digital world, by having more meaningful experiences.

This is becoming the raison d’être of travel.

Another relevant issue that emerged from the research conducted by WTM concerns consumers’ preference for luxury options. Indeed, the research explains how this growing sector adapts to a much broader trend: travellers are seeking new and unique experiences during their holidays.

Our participation as Emma Villas, which represents our core business, and to launch Chiara Travels, at WTM 2023 has led us to interesting and positive reflections, which are new and excellent starting points to continue to grow, to create new projects and to consolidate our reality.

Today, Emma Villas intend to export their portfolio beyond the national borders, expanding in the Mediterranean areas and beyond, preserving pre-existing clients and making new ones, with the same tenacity, seriousness and reliability that has led us – since 2006 – to be leader in the vacation rental sector in Italy.
