Villa Nautilus is a magnificent house with swimming pool and hot tub, located less than 80 metres from the famous beach of white sand dunes of Santa Maria Del Focallo, on the south-eastern coast of Sicily.
The villa has a cosy interior, tastefully furnished, recalling the marine atmosphere and the colours of the sea, and luxuriant outdoor spaces such as the pool area with hot tub set in the verdant Mediterranean garden offering guests unique relaxing sensations, both day and night. In addition, the outdoor barbecue area, equipped also with a wood oven, is able to host memorable outdoor meals with the best Sicilian dishes. The house, thanks to its location and accessories, is perfect for family holidays or romantic getaways or small groups wishing to explore this part of Sicily with its many historic localities such as Scicli, Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla and its beautiful beaches such as Santa Maria del Focallo, Pozzallo, Sampieri, San Lorenzo and Vendicari; furthermore, you can also plan a visit to Malta thanks to the nearby port of Pozzallo with daily ferries to the island!
Interior
The property has two floors connected externally. The ground floor is accessed through the door to the veranda that leads into a large room with kitchen and living area with dining table, sofa and TV. The living room leads to two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a bathroom with shower. At the back, with outside access, is the laundry and a further bathroom with shower. The first floor is reached via an external staircase that leads into another large room with kitchen and dining area and a sofa area with access to the large panoramic veranda. From the large living room a small corridor leads to a double bedroom with a small veranda, a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a bathroom with shower.
Park
The villa stands on a 2000 sq m, completely fenced-in plot of land with many outdoor living spaces such as the barbecue area located at the back of the house and the two furnished, covered verandas around the house that face the lush garden. In front of the villa, among various corners where you can enjoy the cool of the garden, surrounded by the lawn and the verdant Mediterranean vegetation of hedges and shrubs typical of the area, is the pool area while, at the back, is a parking area with space for up to 3 medium-sized cars parked in single file.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is located in front of the villa which is about 20 m away. Of irregular shape and lined in mosaic tiles, it measures about 40 sq m with the depth varying from from 1,10 to 2 m. It has chlorine purification, internal lighting and a ladder for access to the water. Next to the swimming pool, in a slightly elevated position, is a beautiful, irregularly-shaped hot tub, with a circumference of about 3 m, with internal lighting and waterfall (not heated). The solarium area, partly paved and partly lawn, extends all around the pool area and is equipped with sunbeds, sun umbrellas and various small tables. The pool can be heated on request and is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.
Location
Villa Nautilus is located on the south-eastern coast of Sicily, in one of the most spectacular and scenic areas of the island, less than 80 metres from the sand-dune beach of Santa Maria del Focallo. Places you can visit from the villa are: Pozzallo (7 km), Donna Lucata (30 km), Modica (26 km), Ragusa Ibla (40 km), Noto (29 km) and Marzamemi (20 km).
