Our team is growing
Emma Villas is growing and focusing on training and recruiting: the “Emma Villas Academy” has been launched, a project dedicated to the development of new figures in the sector.
11 January 2023 – According to the numbers of the Emma Villas Observatory, in 2022 there were 7,390 weeks booked in 500 structures managed exclusively by Emma Villas, Italian leader in the sector. A growth that has recorded an overall increase in revenue of +63% compared to 2021, equal to an increase of 112% compared to 2019, the last pre-pandemic year.
A growth that translates in a great job opportunity, in fact we are looking for Portfolio Managers for the acquisition of new villas, Property Managers throughout Italy for the management of properties, but also Booking and Concierge Accounts for the central office. In addition, the Emma Villas Academy launches its proposal for advanced professional training, a project dedicated to the growth and development of new figures in the sector.
“We are very proud of the results achieved by Emma Villas. However, the growth of our company also requires us to focus on new resources, bearers of new energy and motivation. We have the will – a courageous one – to grow over the years, despite the difficulties, and for this reason we are looking for new profiles to expand our team. At the same time, we want to guarantee standards of highest quality for our owners and guests and for this reason we are launching an initiative, unique in its kind: a training school for those who work in the sector. The internal training courses of the Emma Villas Academy will begin in January, with the aim of training professionals in the sector and increasing the standards of internal professionalism. I’m also pleased with the increment of women in our team regarding almost all of the recruitments made in the last two years. This increment has undoubtedly generated an injection of passion and expertise” says Giammarco Bisogno, Founder and CEO of Emma Villas.
Investing in training is essential for us at Emma Villas who, with around 45,000 guests a year from all over the world, cannot ignore the quality of our villas and the standard of management. The Emma Villas Academy was started precisely to meet the needs of a growing market and keep high the standards of services offered, an ambitious project aimed at providing expertise in the sector, thanks to the support of a team of qualified trainers, and offering opportunities for growth to the Portfolio Managers, Property Managers, Quality Inspectors, Sales Managers, Concierge Managers and Marketing and Communication Account.
The training will be dedicated to new recruits, employees and over 100 collaborators of Emma Villas. The training will be carried out by professionals within the company with face-to-face sessions and “on the job” trainers.
“Supervising the quality of the villa and the standard of its management is fundamental in our sector and this cannot happen without adequate training of our people. For this, the Emma Villas Academy will be fundamental for the professionalisation of our employees, a unique growth path that offers the possibility of acquiring new skills. Our team considers teamwork a merit, driven by essential principles such as the consistency, quality and transparency of the relationship with whichever interlocutor. These, together with the passion for our work, have always accompanied Emma Villas”concludes Giammarco Bisogno.
BUT WHICH ARE THE NEW PROFESSIONAL FIGURES OF THE SECTOR TRAINED BY THE EMMA VILLAS ACADEMY?
- The Property Managers are required to manage and have overall control of the property and all activities supporting the lease: continuous supervision of the property, reception, coordination of on-site staff who take care of the garden, swimming pool and cleaning.
- The Quality Inspectors are responsible for checking the quality standards of the structures to guarantee quality and comfort and to offer the client a product in perfect “feedback-proof” condition.
- The Concierge Managers handle customer service, administration, problem solving, international client management and arrival details during the season.
- The Booking Operators handle sales support and the management of reservations, while the Commercial Agents or Portfolio Managers, on the other hand, manage the acquisition and management of relations with the villa owners, and having their own portfolio of structures or contacts is the preferential criteria of hiring for the agents..
All profiles are completed by proficiency in the English language while, for many, knowledge of the real estate market is essential, as is the ability to move independently.
