I Colori di Aurora is a delightful residence just outside one of the top spa resorts of southern Tuscany, San Casciano dei Bagni. The current structure was built from scratch, using, however, the original materials from an early 20th century farmhouse, following the typical Tuscan style: wooden beams to support the ceilings, fireplaces and arched openings finished with terracotta bricks, the external walls in local stone extracted directly from the land on which the house stands and, therefore, carefully selected and processed. This is a very habitable home, where aesthetics and practicality, the cosy interior and the well-tended exterior, modern comforts and the predominant quiet of the countryside, form a perfect combination for your holiday. The brightly-lit bedrooms with hand-made wrought iron beds and the comfortable living areas are located on one floor and there are many exits to the beautiful portico and garden, an oasis of peace and fun with private pool, a pergola set up for outdoor dining, a parking area and a children’s play area. From every angle, in addition to the rejuvenating view of the winding hills, you can see the old borgo of San Casciano dei Bagni, dominated by the castellated walls and the tower that dominates the town. Just five minutes away are the renowned thermal baths for which the town is known, with their beneficial waters, wellness centre and spa while just a few dozen metres from the house, and easily accessible on foot, are the free-to-the-public natural thermal baths whose waters gush forth at 38°. The historic town centre where you can find shops for basic needs is just a matter of minutes away. The house is also well served by fast roads and by the train stations in Fabro and Chiusi, important communication routes towards the major cities, and is located in a geographical area rich in borghi and towns of inestimable historical and architectural value like Orvieto, Pienza, Perugia, Castiglione del Lago, Siena and many more.
