3 – Carnival of Viareggio 2018
The Viareggio Carnival is one of the most important in Italy and in Europe, a real event that you cannot miss if you are passing through Tuscany. The main theme of the event has always been political and social satire and the carts that parade change from year to year and they are among the largest and most moving in the world. The Viareggio Carnival began on January 27th and will continue on 4 – 11 – 13 – 17 February.
4 – Carnival of San Gimignano 2018
In the enchanting setting of San Gimignano, as every year, for 4 Sundays starting from 4 February there is the Children’s Carnival of San Gimignano with the wagons that will run from the two gates of the town to the central square. For snack, of course, you cannot miss frittelle and cenci, typical sweets of the Carnival in Tuscany.
